Raising Concerns at Work Policy (Whistleblowing Policy)

Hampshire Police Authority’s Raising Concerns at Work Policy (Whistleblowing Policy) has been developed in accordance with the regulatory framework (item 5) of the Governance Committee’s Terms of Reference.

As employees of Hampshire County Council, the officers of the Authority are covered by its Whistleblowing Procedure and staff and officers of Hampshire Constabulary are governed by their confidential reporting procedure.  

This Policy is to be used by those appointed by the Authority, e.g. Members and Independent Custody Visitors.
