Policing Plan

A Policing Plan is produced annually and it sets out how Hampshire Police Authority and Hampshire Constabulary intend to carry out their duties to police the two counties in the forthcoming year.

The plan is drafted by the Chief Constable, in discussion with the Police Authority. Its content is approved by a meeting of the full Police Authority in February each year. It is published by the Police Authority at the end of March each year, in time for the financial year to start, and is updated in June to reflect any necessary changes since the end of the last financial year.
