TERMS OF REFERENCE

To consider crime prevention issues in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and promote best practice in crime risk management and its co-ordination. To include the mitigation of the effects of crime and public reassurance.
To promote the extension of the multi-agency approach to crime prevention involving the Community Safety Partnerships and other agencies.
To make grants in support of crime prevention initiatives and receive feedback upon their effectiveness.
To review the Annual Standing Grant on behalf of the Authority, to include monitoring and evaluation.
